Hope you can view this...

Les doesn't seem to be doing well. For the last several days, he has mostly slept and remained very quiet even if he is awake. He speaks very little and almost seems emotionless. He isn't complaining about pain and said food is starting to taste better. We aren't sure if this round of chemo is harder on him, or if we just forget how badly he feels each time.

For my class I'm taking this week, we learned about this fun website, Animoto. I thought I'd try to embed it and we can all remember some better times. It is 2 1/2 minutes long. I've found if I let the whole thing load first (press the play arrow on the bottom and then quickly press it again to pause it. A darker bar should slowly move all the way across the video) it should play without skipping when you press play again. Cross your fingers!

  3. I can tell you I had a huge smile on my face with tears running down my cheeks. What a treasure you have shared with all of us. Thank you so much, we have been very blessed to have Les in our lives, and all of you are so lucky to be a part of him. I'm sure Les has many emotions right now and maybe it is just too hard for him to put it all in words. Sleep is good, our bodies tell us so much about what it needs and his must need rest. I wish you all peace and a pain-free week! Cheri & Dennis

  9. What a great video. I too had smiles and tears. Les, I dropped by the office yesterday and left some Eileen's cookies for you. I'm sure Dan will drop them by for you. I was reading that you were pretty tired and I didn't want to disturb you. Nate and I were talking about coming to see you sometime. I'll keep reading the blog and we'll get up there to check on your progress. Keep fighting and we'll keep praying. God Bless

  19. Nikki, You should get an A+ in the class. . . the music and the pictures really work. . . and they did evoke emotion. Sometimes the anger takes hold and I wonder WHY? But the calmer reason takes over and I offer another prayer for God to give you all tremendous strength and patience. Your memories are fantastic and I pray that the future holds many more fantastic memories.

  24. I remember when the Blobaums moved to Ashland, just a block down the street, and their two darling little blondes. The years pass by so quickly, and I am once again reminded of the uncertainty of life. Yet, I'm also reminded of God's indescribable strength to comfort and sustain us.

Blessings and hugs to all of you. I pray everyday for you. Thank you for the powerful tribute.
