A much improved Les

A few days of IV fluids and antibiotics have made Les feel and look much better! His hemoglobin was also low and is receiving two units of blood. This will give him more energy and by tomorrow he should feel more like himself. He did eat a half a pancake and some hashbrowns for breakfast, so we are encouraged. He will stay here at Lakeside overnight and could be released tomorrow, but we haven't heard that for sure. Round 4 of chemo is still scheduled for July 8 - 10. Thanks for keeping Les in your thoughts and prayers.

  4. Hi Les, good to hear that you are able to stay awake more and have some of what I assumed was home cooking (pancakes). Thanks again for spending time with us recently. Was great to see you (the big smile and much enjoyed handshake)and your wonderful supportive family and friends. Also thanks for sending some of your rain down to us - we got over 2 inches this morning - and after 15 straight days of 100 or over and no rain - it really felt good. We continue to hold you and your family in our prayers. May this current round of chemo provide the same positive results as last.

    Love & prayers . . .. Ed & Beth
