Update 2...
Les continues to prepare for his new adventure. His pulse is down to 60 and his respirations are down as well. We've had lots of visitors today and Mom says she is more at peace today. We are thankful for all the visitors, phone calls, and food. We appreciate your positive thoughts and prayers.

Thinking of you all with love and hope in our Lord.

Jill and I went on a beatiful, albeit strenous, hike today. Both of us saw Les in everything. "Les would love this...or that. " thinking about the hike he took in Palm Desert before all this began. I am blessed to retain a viral picture of Les, making it more of a jump to let him go. Jill and I had Les in our hearts and minds today and we will always have him there. Thank you so much for all the updates...I can imagine that's not easy.

It's tough letting go, but knowing that he will soon be with God and without pain is the comfort that will carry you through. Carolyn and family, thinking of you often. You will get your strength from each other and God to get you through this.
ReplyDeleteGod bless,

I'm glad that although the pain you feel is great, you have had time to find some peace in this process. Soon he'll be walking straight and tall again.

Blobaum family,
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. This reminded me so much of my Dad - he just kept hanging on and on. God will give you strength, comfort and peace to get through this. I was totally exhausted from Thursday night until Monday afternoon but God was with us at all times. May the Lord be with all of you at this difficult time.
God Bless,
Shari Nygren and family
